Your Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Perth

Check in to the chic Adnate Art Series Hotel, featuring the work of renowned artist Matt Adnate. The afternoon is yours to explore the city at leisure. You can take a short stroll to Elizabeth Quay where the city meets the Swan River. The waterfront precinct features the public art walk alongside riverside bars and cafes. Or take a trip up to Kings Park, home to the WA Botanic gardens and the state war memorial. With sweeping views across the city there is plenty to explore along it’s many walking tracks.

This evening meet your fellow travellers for a welcome dinner and drinks.

Day 2: Perth to Margaret River

After breakfast your driver will transfer you to Margaret River. Arriving late morning, you’ll begin your first walk along the Cape to Cape Track. From Smiths Beach to Injidup Beach, with lunch and a swim in a secluded bay along the way. On arrival at the Injidup Spa Retreat, you’ll enjoy a welcome drink and map briefing in the lounge. There is time to freshen up and enjoy wine and cheese tasting by your villa plunge pool. Tonight enjoy a casual dinner with local wines in your villa.

Day 3: Cape to Cape Walk

Enjoy a gourmet breakfast hamper in your villa, before heading to Cape Naturaliste. This morning you’ll enjoy a 14km walk along the limestone coastline to Yallingup. Passing famous surf-breaks on this clifftop walk. Sugarloaf Rock is a highlight today. Jutting from the ocean, this granite rock formation is visible in the distance on much of the Cape to Cape Walk. This afternoon you have time for a massage at the wonderful Bodhi-J Spa. Tonight is a wonderful private chef dining experience.With three courses showcasing local produce and the opportunity to sample leading Margaret River wines. .

Day 4: Cape to Cape walk

Today’s walk is the most stunning.  Along a 14km stretch of the  Cape to Cape track from Redgate Beach to Boranup karri forest. You’ll be dwarfed by the karri trees and marvel at the jaw-dropping views from the cliff-top above pristine Contos beach. We may surprise you with a special ‘pop-up’ lunch in the forest today. After returning to Injidup, you’ll have some time to relax. Later you’ll be transferred to a Margaret River vineyard for a private tasting with the owner, before dinner at an acclaimed local restaurant.

Day 5: Cape to Cape Walk

Today’s walk is a gentle 3 hours from Moses Rock to Willyabrup sea cliffs. Witness the powerful Indian Ocean waves crashing into the granite cliffs. The turquoise hues standing out against the orange rocks. Standing on top of the cliffs you’ll have 180 degree views of the coastline.  Be proud as you marvel at the distance you’ve covered. After, it’s time for a celebratory lunch at the founding Margaret River winery, Vasse Felix. Enjoy four-courses with premium wine matches as you overlook the vines. You can browse the onsite gallery and cellar door before a transfer to Fremantle.

This evening is a chance to unwind, with the evening at your leisure. If you’re up for it then Fremantle is the perfect spot to try Western Australia’s craft beer scene.

Day 6: Rottnest Island

Today you’ll enjoy a full day on Rottnest Island. Just a 40 minute ferry ride from Fremantle, Rottnest is a protected nature reserve and home to Australia’s happiest animal, the Quokka. We’ll explore the island on a guided e-bike excursion so you can take in the sights of this beautiful island. You’ll meet the wildlife, hear about the history of this once prison island, and marvel at the beauty of its surrounding beaches and secluded bays. 

Tonight a farewell dinner at a local restaurant

Overnight: Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle (B, D)

Day 7: Fremantle

This morning is free for you to explore the lively port-city of Fremantle. Take a stroll along the beachfront, a visit to the Fremantle Markets, or just sit and enjoy the vibrant cafe culture. All good things must come to an end. Say farewell to your fellow travellers before a transfer back to Perth Airport. (B)
